Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data in the following cases:
- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we need time to verify this. During verification you have the right to request restriction.
- If processing was/is unlawful, you may request restriction instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your data but you require it for legal claims, you may request restriction instead of deletion.
- If you have objected pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, pending a balancing of interests, you have the right to request restriction.
Objection to Unsolicited Emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of our legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising such as spam emails.
Data Collection on Our Website
As the website operator, we only store information about when specific pages are accessed, which buttons are clicked, and which browser is used. This is technically necessary to ensure optimal display and error-free functionality. No conclusions can be drawn about individual users.
Server Log Files
Our website is hosted on servers operated by an external service provider (Strato AG, Germany). This provider automatically collects information in "server log files," including: customer domain, anonymised client IP, request line, timestamp, status code, response body size, referrer, and user agent.
This information is not processed in a personally identifiable manner or linked to personal data. For further details, please refer to Strato's privacy policy.
Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies:
- Session cookie (PHPSESSID): Enables login and navigation on the platform. Deleted when the browser is closed.
- Language preference: Stores the selected language (DE/EN) locally in the browser. No tracking, no third-party transmission.
No analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies are used. You may disable cookies in your browser at any time, but this may result in limited functionality.
Storage of Personal Data
Personal data you submit via a form (e.g. registration, job application, job alert) is used solely for the stated purpose, stored securely, and not passed on to third parties.
Account
To create an account, information such as your name, email address, and company name is required. This is used solely for the stated purpose and is not shared with third parties.
You will be automatically notified by email of status changes (e.g. Premium upgrade, expiry of a subscription or listing). By registering, you consent to this.
Content you have published can be deactivated or deleted at any time in your account. Where no legal retention obligation applies, deleted content is removed immediately and irreversibly.
Your account can be deleted at any time via Account → Settings → Delete account. Upon deletion, all data not subject to statutory retention obligations is immediately and irreversibly deleted. Invoice data is retained for 7 years as required by law.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed via Stripe, Inc. We do not receive full payment data (e.g. credit card numbers). Stripe processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Billing addresses are stored for tax purposes (retention obligation 7 years, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Job Alert
You may sign up for the Job Alert to receive email notifications about new listings. We require your email address and your consent (double opt-in). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any Job Alert email or by sending us an email. Upon unsubscribing, your data is deleted immediately.
Newsletter
We do not currently offer a newsletter subscription.
Social Media
There is currently no direct integration with social media platforms. No social media plugins that transmit data to third parties are embedded.
Web Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics or comparable tracking tools.
