Snowboard Instructor

At Ski School Rougemont, we are far more than a traditional ski school – we are guides, hosts, and passionate ambassadors of the mountains in Gstaad, Rougemont, and the Saanenland. Our mission is to provide our international guests with a genuine premium service that reflects the exclusive character of the region.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for motivated snowboard instructors who bring passion, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering excellence both on and off the slopes. 

Your Typical Workday 

A day with us goes far beyond classic snowboard instruction. Our guests expect a seamless, high-quality experience – and we take pride in providing exactly that. Your responsibilities typically include: 

• Picking guests up directly from their hotel or chalet (a private car or rental car is required) 
• Discussing their level, expectations, and preferred learning focus 
• Accompanying them to the rental shop and assisting with snowboard, boots, and equipment selection 
• Assisting with lift pass purchase 
• Teaching private lessons, with occasional group lessons 
• Recommending suitable lunch spots and making reservations when needed 
• Dropping guests back at their accommodation after the lesson 

This personalised, full-service approach allows our guests to relax completely and enjoy their mountain experience – a signature element of Ski School Rougemont.

Training & Development 

 To support your professional growth, we regularly organise internal training sessions. These cover the latest teaching methods, technical riding development, and safety essentials – ensuring you stay up to date and continue improving your own snowboarding skills. 

Your Guest Profile 

You will work with guests of all levels – from absolute beginners to experienced snowboarders seeking technical refinement or wishing to explore the region’s best slopes and hidden gems. We carefully match guests with instructors to ensure the best fit for your strengths, personality, and teaching style.
