KITEBOARDING & WINGFOIL INSTRUCTORS WANTED 🌊

Playa del Carmen, Mexican Caribbean | November 2026 – May 2027

Want to spend the winter working, riding and living in the Caribbean?

Playa del Carmen Kiteboarding is looking for experienced Kiteboarding and Wingfoil Instructors to join their team for the upcoming season.

Their school is located directly on the beach in central Playa del Carmen, on an easy, instructor-friendly spot with warm Caribbean water and a relaxed environment for teaching.

HOW THE SEASON WORKS

The Mexican Caribbean is not a place where you work seven days a week — and that’s exactly what makes the season special.

🌬️ They typically get around 3–4 windy days per week

⏱️ On windy days, instructors normally teach around 3–6 hours per day, depending on conditions and bookings

💰 Instructors are paid per teaching hour

🏄 They also have wakeboarding activities available during the season

☀️ No-wind days mean time to ride, train, dive, explore cenotes, travel around the Yucatán or simply enjoy Playa del Carmen.

It creates a great balance between earning money, teaching, riding and actually having time to enjoy living in Mexico.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

They are looking for instructors who are:

• Experienced and confident teaching independently
  
• Safety-focused and professional
  
• Friendly and comfortable working with international guests
  
• Reliable and easy to work with
  
• Passionate about kiteboarding / wingfoil and the lifestyle around it
  
• Comfortable working with a flexible schedule dictated by wind and bookings

English is important. Additional languages are a plus.

IMPORTANT

This is a seasonal, hourly-paid instructor position, not an all-inclusive employment package.

Accommodation and meals are not provided, so instructors are responsible for organizing their own living expenses in Playa del Carmen.

In return, you get a flexible season in one of the most interesting places to live in the Caribbean — working directly on the beach, teaching on a straightforward spot and having enough days off to actually enjoy Mexico.
